 Kintore, NT, Australia.

Kintore is a small Aboriginal community with a population of about 400, located 550 km west from Alice Springs, near the Northern Territory/Western Australia border and the Tropic of Capricorn.

People at Walungurru are mostly of the Pintupi tribe, and speak Pintupi-Luritja as their first language.

I arrived on the small light aircraft that does the flight from Alice Springs to Warburton in WA and back to Alice seeing the country change to total sandy desert with small desert vegetation which from the plane looks like the dot paintings.
Kintore has a very beautiful school with a Bush Tucker Garden.
