Perth to Broome along the coast Road is a distance of 3000 kms with towns spaced
about 600 kms apart...with sheer, dry, red desert inbetween and inland.
Driving is a daunting experience if you are not used to the heat, and even if
you are...but you see and experience some magnificent barren outback desert land.
The Desert Communities are like small concentrated associations of indigenous
in the inland, and mixed cultures on the coastal towns. This is an experience that challenges, and the art that comes out
of this land is as experiential as the land itself, rich in the colors of the earth, and often created out of the earth itself.
I have lived and explored the Outback for a decade, and my work is my feeling
about what I have seen and experienced. The photographs are my expression and through them you will share my experiences
of the Deserts and what is known as The Outback Regions of Australia.
Yes, they extend from one side of Australia to the other....and yes, the land
is similar..rich in natural color and vibrant with the colors of nature and the Earth.
