REVIEW...By Rita
"We
have visited a lot of the Greek islands. The island I like best is Thassos the most north island. It is fertile and green
with many flowers and it has white sandy beaches. Because of the flowers they have bees and
you can buy delicious honey.
Samos is wonderful too, green with much flowers and picturesque inlets.
If you look at Lesbos you have the impression
that the whole island is silver green. There are endless olive groves. You don't find many beautiful beaches.
The Kyklades are very interesting.
The word "kyklos" means ring and like a ring the islands are arranged around the holy island named Delos. In anxious times
it was forbidden to give birth and to die on this holy island. If you want to visit the island you must be very seaworthy
because the sea around the island is very, very troubled and many of the tourists become seasick, but the suffering is
worth-while.
We spent some days in Mykonos, Naxos and Paros. Mykonos is the island which gays prefer. They come to spend
their vacation there from all parts of the world.
The island is meager and there is only one tiny little town with white
and blue houses and windmills and a lot of crazy and expensive shops. The clothes they
offer you you can only wear in Mykonos.
The beaches are marvellous.
Naxos and Paros are remarkable too, not so very green but lovely beaches. If you are interested
in Greek mythology and history you should visit Crete and Peleponnes.
You will find the whole Greek mythology and lovely
beaches too.
Do you know
enough about
Greek islands now?"
